I’m a routine person and a do-er, meaning my daily life at each corresponding period, I’ll allocate it to doing something.

So far my routine has worked out well, expect for my mornings.

The thing is every waking morning after I’ve cleaned myself in the bathroom, and out the door, I could hear the neighbour coughing real hard.

This is clock-work, and is a daily occurrence for me.

It’s not just your usual cough-cough-ends-fast, but the kind where a person is trying to relieve ALL the flem, mucus and phlegm, in his or her throat and lungs.

I mean the coughing session was really long, like a minute, two, or so, and I can’t help but listen. And it’s truly GROSS. It is as though the fella is choking to death and dying throughout the coughing process.

My crib doesn’t have sound-proof walls unfortunately. You may find this trivial and funny, but I find it truly gross.

I wondered how and why do people even get such flem and mucus build-up on a daily basis. I can understand if you’re having a cold, an allergic reaction, or is infected, but this neighbour fella of mine, has it like every day!

From what I’ve read and researched online, if you’re having such a chronic coughing of mucus, it pretty much says you’re a slob. Such grossness pretty much depends on the junk food you eat, the vices you are callous to, and the unhealthy lifestyle you’re leading.

And with that grossness, I’ve adjusted my routine, so as I can avoid the neighbour’s coughing. And for my lovely friends who does smoke, quit lah. If you do, you can kiss me ok. But no tongue. Free of charge, friends with benefits per.
