I’ve stop short of doing resolutions for a long time now.
I find it pretty pointless. Taking stock of your lives should be done now and concurrently and not at the end of the year, for me that is anyway.
My life’s objectives are on a 3-4 months goal basis, like a company itself. I review my goals and objectives quarterly and proceed on the things I should improve on, pursue or stop short doing.
Also I live on a daily basis too. Having a goal at the end of they day such as baking a cupcake or shaving my armpits, that sort of thing, keeps me sharp and not bored.
Of course I do have my long terms goals too. That you’ve to start planning and ‘saving’ real early. Kinda like insurance, hopefully without the nuisance agent.
Well what I’m trying to say is, resolutions are for pussies, hoping and praying for their wishes to come true. I’d say throw it out with the garbage and live in the real world.
If you want something real bad, go out there and do it!
