Well my entry on “Abhishek Bachchan & Aishwarya Rai honeymoon photos” at my tabloids website Cheekopek.com hit the number #1 spot for May currently at Ping.sg.
Wah quite an amazing feat, I was kinda surprised in-fact. My SEO planning paid off. It ‘beat the crap’ out of second place blog entry about FHM girl Lucina Leong by some 360 pongs!
To be in top ranking at Ping.sg usually involve sex or money related entries and as you can see my entry is neither of that. What got me to top spot was my SEO skill I picked up.
Always keep abreast of the latest stuff related to your blog. Since my tabloid blog is about celebrities, I put up an entry of the recent Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai wedding.
I then use linkbait title, anchor words, technorati tag and the right meta input in my entry, so as search engine spiders/bots pick up my story. And the rest, it’s up to the readers.
Yeah I’ve to thank the recent surge of visitors from India thou. My adsense earnings also increase due to influx of visitors. Muacks! Indian Mamas, tambi you rock!
