Pablo Picasso’s 1932 painting “Nude, Green Leaves and Bust” recently was sold at a record-breaking US$106.5 million. Who says a career in the art never pays eh. Of course you need to be larger than life, dead and you’ll probably won’t get to enjoy the spoils of your work.
I’ve been looking at the painting the past few days now, and with all artwork, it’s always open to interpretation. What’s your take on it?

As for me it’s all about the issue of sexual inhibition, the lack of it that is, haha. Looking at it is so sensual, and there’s always something new in the painting that I’ll notice at each glance.
I just wish at times life could be at a standstill, and only me in a room full of the great artwork in history, nothing to do but for me to just gawk, enjoy and admire the paintings.
