Popout 07: I missed it

There was a recent Web 2.0 event last week. I was brain-dead and on a mental torture loop studying for my midterms when Popout 07 was held during the weekend.

I’ve never really been to such event and would love to attend one of those, one fine day when I’m exam free. The thing is, I was reading up on all the various blogs at Ping.sg and many of them blogged about about Popout’07

From the various posts, I think most of the attendee had fun and they even managed to get Gen Kanai from Mozilla to come down. He was part of the team that was from the original old-school Netscape Navigator

How many of you actually had used one eh. Compared to today’s standard it’s crap lah, but back then, woohooo such browsers rawks man

Anyway I began to wonder, hey there’s a growing community of Web 2.0 user in Singapore. And there’s even a small emerging pool of talented technopreneurs as I read the various Popout’07 blog entries that was awed by the demo on that day by the technopreneurs.

Basically the event was a showcase of local start-ups and a mingling session with the supporters and avid Web 2.0 users. I found the below Popout’07 entries interesting. There’s photos and some even has videos. Take a look over them aight

yes.. school gets the better of us.. and we miss out on events that matter to us,, but at least with events like this.. there will always be a next time yeah ;)
