I’ve been working out for some time now and I’ve found that I’ve stagnated in terms of gains when it comes to a certain exercises where it requires gripping, for example the pull-up.

Ever been in a situation when you’re doing your reps and you’ve found that your grip gave way before the actual muscle that you’re straining.

I have before and that just sucks. You can’t resume doing more reps as your arms are already pumped & can’t withstand any more load.

This is where a power hook comes in handy.

I saw this equipment when I was watching Rob Riches video training log (A legendary fitness model) and it just hits me, “Hey that’s what I exactly need.”

Firstly I actively searched my surrounding malls and stores for such a power hook, but to my disappointment no such places sells such an item. Couldn’t be no one in Singapore uses it?

I weight around 72kg, and the power hook supports me fine. The package didn't come with any disclaimer or description, so I couldn't tell you what's the maximum weight it can withstand.

Well I turned to the Internet and found to my delight found it at Nutrition Park website. This is the only site locally that has it.

I’ve been using Nutrition Park Power Hook for about two to three weeks now and it has been a breeze.

The thing is by using this you’re actually saving your energy, where it will be efficiently directed to more effective sets.

By targeting the specific muscle group, you’ll now increase focus and concentration, and this power hook is helping me in that area.

I find myself with an increase in performance from the very first workout. Blimey I did more sets and reps than my previous best.

Overall it was a good buy, at my time of purchase it cost me SG$18.90. I have no gripes so far. You can buy it here.
