My uni is really a cheena place as finding a Muslim food stall is rather ‘taxing’.
Usually I would either ‘makan’ at the main faculty canteen or at Hall 2 but yesterday I decided to venture out as I want variety in taste.
I started out from my Hall 9.
Firstly I took the internal bus to Hall 13.
There used to be a Muslim stall there last semester or so, now when I checked it out, it’s now some duck rice food stall.
Aiya … Also the nearby Malay Hall 11 food stall also closed down.
So I next went to NIE canteen.
This canteen served a delicious Malay nasi padang style but I rarely visit the place as it’s quite ‘far’ from my Hall.
Unfortunately the Malay stall close late in the evening. Dang!
Well the only place I can think of next is Hall 2.
So it’s back to square one.
So basically I went venturing out for nothing.
Next time I just have to stick to my same only eating canteen.
Hall 2 it is … bummer
tell me about it… someone shld complain abt the lack of halal food in NTU! :P not to mention that the malay food stalls pretty much always suck. i always end up going all the way to NIE or resort to eating macs (unhealthy!). cafe by the quad is ok, i guess, but u gotta pay that much more. :(
ya lor, kalau kita nak masak ada, the pantry sometimes too small or other ppl using. i aso head over to MAC to makan somtimes but not often. i’ve yet to try cafe by the quad. for a moment there when u mention quad, i tot its qudriceps, haha … yeah too much exercise ;-p

if u come over, erm bring a chef. we share the cost

Hehe.. Still the best food is at NIE. No doubt the onli place to have a ‘decent’ edible food. Haha.. Bro.. take 179 gi jurong point banquet makan laa.. hehe~

u noe what happened to the hall 13 food stall? i stayed in hall 15 last yr 1 semester and i had food poisoning from tt makcik stall. i complained to the sch and SU.
abeh tu jual mahal, abeh tu tak fresh.
Tak halal seh gitu.
I used to stay hall 13 myself, there was a malay food stall but closed down the next sem i came over
