I’ve moved from Hall 9 to Hall 13. We call it Hall here, NUS has names to their hostel I think. NUS uses names to their hostels like Eusoff and Prince Edwards.
The halls here at NTU are way cheaper than NUS. Some of the new freshie who moved it complained about their new accommodation.
Well for me, I don’t really mind. Maybe I’ve lower expectation and am pleased easily. As long I’ve a roof over my head, I’m satisfied.
I moved the Monday earlier and these few days staying here so far, I find the place much better than Hall 9.
For one my faculty is nearer to my Hall, I don’t need to climb the stairs so much now, the room is much more spacious, the 199 bus stop is much nearer and there’s more ‘life’ here.
Meaning I can see activities being carried out within the premises. Like chicks doing cheer-leading, dances and such. Ehem I’ll then on purpose walk slowly and enjoy the ‘view’. Hahaha
In fact I stayed in Hall 13 before, with Mark bro. That period of time was quite eventful. I got screwed over then.
The move was assisted by Rudy, who allowed me to use his car to move my precious books which I can’t wait to burn next semester when I complete the module. Kinda made a few scratches in his car dashboard.
