Wow time sure flies for this year’s fasting period. I just recalled buying a pack of maggi mee for my first week of bangun sahur early morning meal, and the next thing you know, it’s going to be Hari Raya tomorrow.
Anyway on the maggi mee stuff, well the taste of ‘plastic’ didn’t go down well with my tastebud and stomach. So I ate my usual normal meals in the morning.
It took longer to prepare, but it’s much healthier. I guess I’m used to what I’m usually eating, not this cheaper unhealthier option, although faster in preparation.
Since it will be Hari Raya Puasa tomorrow, why not a whole new selection of celebratory videos to get me and you in the mood.

This is the recent TV3 that got Malaysians riled as they believe it has Buddhist and Christianity theme to it. With that, TV3 pulled the ad out, and made an apology. What do you think of the ad?

This is an emo ad. Haiz … as for me I can’t help but feel sad lah, thinking of my loved ones who is not around. The ad also focuses on the strong family ties that will get you during tough times, despite whatever color and race you are. The babe in the video is a Chinese, and her deceased husband, a Malay.

Iklan Petronas Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2010 – Antara Dua
Petronas has rolled out their annual Hari Raya Aidilfitri ad. No it’s not the usual teary Hallmark ad, but made it somewhat funny instead this year.
The ad is a shorter version of P. Ramlee’s Madu Tiga. I mentioned somewhat funny, as only the ‘Great One’ can pull it off. Still it’s paying homage to P.Ramlee, and that’s cool.
