I went for a jog earlier in the day and of all places I bumped into an old secondary school buddy of mine at the traffic junction.
I was headed in the direction of Sembawang, passing by the industrial area. As I stopped at the traffic junction, there he was, coming back from a late lunch at a nearby hawker place with his colleagues.
Moi was the one who spotted him and I gave him a grin as I got closer. He instantly recognized me.
We chatted a bit; as much as walking to the end of the traffic lights allows before I resumed my jog. But what I remembered most of our encounter was both of us chuckling when I mentioned we’re both 30 year old single geezers. Hahaha.
Well enough of nostalgia, I’ve been feeling rather guilty as of late.

I’ll share my abs secrets.
Although I’m doing my workouts consistently, there has been days when I put half-ass effort.
You know such days when you’re too tired from work, but you’re just going through the motion.
Well you might ask why do it in the first place right? Well life is all about the small little efforts.
I believe consistency over time, no matter whatever effort put it, will result in your attainment of goal at the end of the tunnel, so to speak.
It’s not that I don’t enjoy my workouts, but on days I’m really tired, my mind is somewhere else it seems. The fun is there, but I’m kinda blur sotong too at that point.
Well I do hope you’ll know what I mean. Time to control my life once again, get back my abs of steel, pecks and buns :p
