Well Comex is finally here, starting today until this Sunday (2-5 September), that is. All the I.T. nerds like me will be there to scour the ‘best’ deals.
In fact after years of going to such an event, it’s a great outing if you’re looking for freebies when purchasing something.
More or less the price at an IT Show is the same if you were to go to Sim Lim Square.
Oh another tip, bring wad loads of cash as you’ll incur extra cost if you were to pay by NETS or Credit Card.
Luckily these days, the shops are more transparent and put a disclaimer compared to previous Comex where they’ll surprise you when you’re about to pay. Clever little bugger eh.
As for me hmm I might, or I might not purchase stuff, as I’ve got all I needed currently. Maybe I’ll add more RAM to my desktop, or get a 64GB thumbdrive for backup purposes. It will be a spur of the moment decision when I’m at Suntec City.
The only thing I’m looking forward to is the iPhone 4 v2 (4.1) white edition at the end of the year. Rumors has it, the debut date for the “fixed” antenna issue, will be around October. I can’t wait for that!
