In life without goals, it would be pointless living.
It will be darn boring if you’re just bumbling around in life aimless.
In Singapore we’ve the usual going for us. The 5C, academia pursuits from PSLE to Uni, queuing for Hello Kitty to trivial ones such as ‘chopping’ tables during lunch with tissue paper.
Currently for myself I think my goal in life for now is just ‘pampering’ myself.
All my life I’ve been doing things that serves other people’s interest, or get involved into something for the sake of wanting to ‘fit-in’. Well no more of course.
I’m saving up for plenty of things these days. There’s so much to do and I’m truly excited just thinking about it. On top of my list is traveling, to experiencing and learning new cultures such as is making-out in Singapore any different in Greenland perhaps?
Have you seen the movie ‘About A Boy’. The one where Hugh Grant infamous line was “I am my own island”. I can relate to that truly.
I’ve always been the responsible one, someone you can always depend on, the all-you-can-be dude, well people its about time I start to think selfishly for myself and have some more fun in life.
I’ll update you again if I’ve made anyone pregnant aite :p
hey sha! haha don’t be so anti!
Anyway I think when I reach 30, I might be thinking the same as you too.
I remembered that omg “I am old” feeling when I turned 21, then thereafter, I like kinda don’t want to be older than that anymore!
21 is not old dei, haha.
Well as long our health in good order and we’re happy at what we do as we age, that’s all that matters right.
