I was reading an archive report at Channel News Asia, and they featured this Over 40 Singles Club.

The requirement to join is …

40 years old or over
well-educated
a professional or businessperson (businessman / businesswoman)
Singaporean or foreigners working in Singapore

Uncle Sha meets all the requirement above of course, except the age factor which is the issue there.

So it got me thinking, why don’t we have a ‘over 30 singles club’ in Singapore. I tried searching online, but to no avail.

Well some of you might be wondering why not just sign up with SDU instead? For the young ones, well SDU will bug you with invites and notification, if you’re above 30, still single and living with your parents. Ok ok I bedek (lied) the last part.

For me personally, I find that there’s a certain stigma attached to SDU lah. Macam last resort kind of method, where its saying you’re totally hopeless in finding love.

So people, anyone wanna join me to open up our very own Singapore’s Over 30 Singles Club … we try FaceBook there first lah.
