If you are a blogger from Singapore or writing in Singapore context, then you should sign-up with Ping.sg aggregator service.
Basically it works by:
- You blog an entry
- Automatic ping of Ping.sg
- Other web sources picks up Ping.sg aggregation of your entry
- You get more traffic and authority online
- Translate into better PageRank, backlinks and increase in your monetization
It just had a revamp of features and now stands at v2.0.0 after turning three years old, being this time round I find it more spam and idiot proof.
That’s good of course, and I’m hoping deserved entries gets onto the Top 10 this time round, rather than the usual sex related stuff.
My Ping.sg stats
So far I’ve had 570,000 plus reads on all my ping articles via this service. How reliable the stats are, I’m unsure, but that’s a huge substantial figure to have over the course of three years I’ve been using Ping.sg service.
I’ve pinged the service 17,000 plus times, again if all my articles combined over the years I don’t think it’s that amount. Yes I blog plenty, but the pings I reckon is being done several times for an entry perhaps. So multiply that, the ping figure mentioned earlier makes sense.
Also I’m slowly getting to know the community. So far I only interacted with a few of Pings.sg members being the low-profile person that I am. It’s a promising local web community, so I’ll keep tabs.
By the way, if you’ve plenty of blogs like I do, it took me an hour just to update my Ping.sg blog profiles. That sure wasn’t fun, haha!
Do try Ping.sg

Thanks for your entry about Ping.sg.
I’m glad it worked for you.
BTW, the “total pings” isn’t counting the number of times you ‘update/ping’. You indeed have 17000+ blog posts on all your blogs combined!
You must be one hell of a blogger!
Ping.sg really did wonders to my blog local presence.
What a wonderful idea you created online!
Ooops didn’t know I blogged that plenty, haha.
Thanks for clearing that up.
