I think I’m an odd fella when its comes to go about living life.
For one I march to the beat of my own drum.
Secondly I’m a professional-bum unwillingly to get a job, wear a suit and tie, and rot in the office.
Thirdly I prefer to ‘stay off the grid’ so to say, preferring a low profile existence, aside from this blog and a FaceBook account.
Add another to the list is my preference in shopping. People shop for luxury items, as for me I would prefer to shop that will benefit and enhance my quality of life.
Here’s my upcoming shopping list:
- MSM - Doctor’s Best, Best MSM 1500, 1500 mg, 120 Tablets (I’ll be ordering 4 bottles. Great for your joints. I’m getting old, so I need these)
- Multi-Vitamins – Now Foods, Daily Vits, 250 Tablets (This is a must have supplement. You don’t get enough nutrients from your daily consumption, no matter how much you eat!)
- Probiotics – Now Foods, BerryDophilus, 60 Chewables (I’m ordering 4 tubs. You need good bowel movement. My family has a history of bowel issues.)
- Protein – Twinlab, 100% Whey Protein Fuel, Mass, Chocolate Surge Flavor, 5 lbs, 65 servings (I’m ordering 4 tubs, should last me 2 months plus. It’s cheaper by 15 per cent to order Internationally than locally. Great for muscle building and recovery)
- Melatonin – Natrol, Melatonin, 3 mg, 240 Tablets (If you’ve trouble sleeping, this is the supplement you need.)
- Vitamin B-Complex – Now Foods, B-50 Vitamin B-Complex, 250 Tablets (If you’ve issues with your energy level, get this!)
- Omega-3 Fish Oil – Nature’s Answer, Liquid Omega-3, Deep Sea Fish Oil EPA/DHA, Natural Orange Flavor, 16 fl oz (Build a better body with a better brain!)
Total damage is around US$265 or SG$369, plus the DHL delivery cost.
Considering I’m mass ordering from iHerb.com, there’s discount included for buying in stocks, and such an order is to last me 8 months. Basically I’m actually saving money!
After calculation, I’m paying SG$1.53 per day for the next 8 months for a BETTER quality of life. Now that’s shopping!
You can’t find such offer locally of course, you’ve to venture online.
