Many of soccer fans including me are scrambling to find ways to watch the World Cup.
For someone who don’t have the luxury of a TV or cable subscription, I don’t really have much of a choice.
The recent news regarding the World Cup is that there will be free-to-air television World Cup matches in Singapore.
The matches will be:
- 11th June 16:00 – Opening match (South Africa vs Mexico)
- 6th July – Semi-Final 1
- 7th July – Semi-Final 2
- 11th July – Final
Timings above are of Local South Africa time.
Now that’s good news, but I’m still without a plan and place of where to watch it.
Finally I’ve have realized a measure of a ‘true’ friend, if he/she decides to invite you over to their place to watch the World Cup LIVE; for the ones who happen to have cable, haha.
So far all my ‘friends’ have gone underground and MIA, pffttt.
Ooooit I’ve no TV here at my place, and I need an invite to watch the World Cup 2010. The kopitiam is my usual World Cup watching haunt, but my lungs can’t take it anymore.
The Uncles, mats and bengs, smoked too much for my liking at the kopitiam, and I tak boleh tahan, cannot take it lei.
*Hint-hint* Friends reading this, invite me over lah!
