You all have heard of “The Hunchback of Notre Dame” right.
How about “The Hunchback of Singapore” …
Let me explain.
I jog every other day if time allows, and my usual timeslot for the cardio workout would be around 3-4pm-ish where there’s lesser people.
But if work bogs me down, I would still make a point to run no matter how late, and this is where “The Hunchback of Singapore” appears on the streets.
It gets pretty annoying that most people I bumped across on the pavement are engrossed in the mobile device, be it the iPhone, PDA, BlackBerry, yada yada yada.
These people would be hunching over their devices, oblivious of everything around them, blocking their path i.e. oncoming jogger like me.
MORONS dot com!
I would have thought such devices would free us with more time to enjoy life, instead it is enslaving us.
I’d say use technology to liberate not enslave.
