Despite our complaints, Singapore customer services and business accountability practices is one of the better ones around. Things get done when we want them to. I’ve online friends from the surrounding Asian region and their net connection at times can be described as sub-standard. The business practices there are kinda ‘retarded’
I’ve heard stories from them, of how agonizingly it is for my friends to get their Internet working or it just takes forever to setup. One of my recent peeps in Malaysia is frustrated with her frequent disconnection on the net. The best thing I could console my peep was to send her the above video :p
Yes I’m very mean, haha … but I do wish the prices of broadband in Singapore would drop. Comparing to Taiwan prices, we’re paying higher for slower connection. You might say we’re comparing Apple to an Orange, but I feel its still possible. With such a move, I think the users will jump ship due to the offer, despite the saturated small market here
