Presenters on suria, ooh i always miss that or any other suria show. Every the tv is on, got cartoons jer. When is suria on anyway?

I think Mediacorp would employ a ‘wait and see’ strategy rather than taking a chance on a pilot show

There’s are some good local shows, some are crappy, well at least Mediacock is making them. Maybe they’ve a quota to fill yearly? hehe

I don’t really know the local media scene but I think it can be better lah.

I’ve been to a few of the local plays, some of the shows/actors are really good! why are they not on tv!!

yeah! agreed! im still kinda pissed they’re gonna show House on channel 5. i love that show so much! Cable’s gonna air their 4th season soon. but whats the point of having cable when everyone else is gonna watch it on mediacorp in the end. just like heroes. They only aired it because it was such a huge success. huge show = more commercials. And i noticed commercials on channel 5 took 5 fucking minutes! cable just at 2 minutes. omg, and i have to complain about their reporters on tv. they sounded so retarded. they talk so slowly making sure every word is stressed and its as if they’re conveying a message to a stupid person or something. annoying.

and their locally produced english shows especially… so lame and boring can?! except for a few really good ones, and surprisingly its adrian pang who’s the main actor in those good ones. so makes me wonder if its the script that’s lame or the actors themselves who needs acting lessons!

oh uncle sha, i recently watched fyi on suria. really boring. no chemistry between the presenters.

This I most certainly agree. The MediaCorp programming is stale and backward. Who is interested in our so-called artistes frolicking in the sun and playing games like puppies or a bunch of schoolkids having arguments pretending to be like some cheap politicians. I’d rather watch my collection of Rome season 1 and 2.

The news channel is no different, portraying lopsided views meant to disinform the viewers from the other side of the coin. They must have forgotten that these days we have the Internet and the whole world at the click of a mouse-button.

I don’t watch the television too. I find it too offensive to my liking lately.
