Rich Dad Poor Dad

I love the “Rich Dad Poor Dad” series by Robert Kiyosaki, and I’ve all his materials, and I recommend you his stuff if you want to think out of the box when it comes to financial freedom mentality.

Below is a quick video summary of Robert Kiyosaki work and what he’s all about, interviewed by AlJazeera’s Riz Khan.

But don’t just stick to one sort of ideology, keep on exploring, reading and experimenting. Who knows, you might just struck gold!

Are we programmed to be financially illiterate? Do our schools mass produce graduates destined to work for someone else?

In 1997, Robert Kiyosaki, a US entrepreneur, decided to self-publish a brochure with advice on investing and personal finances.

That publication, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, and its sequels went on to sell more than 26 million copies in 38 different languages.

Probably it’s just me, but I would be skeptical about these 300 odd pages book talking about financial planning, investing etc etc.. I majored in finance and frankly, each of my textbooks are probably a few times thicker than Robert Kiyosaki’s book, and it didn’t really cover as much!

Anyway, he was once a bankruptcy and frankly, I would take his financial advices with a pinch of salt :)

    That’s just me

What makes Robert Kiyosaki famous is that he is able to bring across messages such as the importance of financial literacy in a interesting and engaging way, instead of just presenting the boring theory.
